The Girl Scout Law
I will do
my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
to be a sister to every Girl Scout.
Welcome to Our
Heartland Girl Scouts. We are part of Brownie Troop #6141
and we love Girl Scouts! We are glad you stopped in today;
enjoy your visit and don't forget to take a great big Brownie smile
with you!
This year's cookie sales
were great! Krista sold 341 boxes of cookies!
Not too bad for her first year in Girl Scouts, huh? She made
top seller in the troop and we are very proud of her! Good
work, sweetie!
We used a bit
of cookie credit to go to Brownie Core Camp a few weeks ago (you can
take a peek at the
scrapbook page here, we need to get
pictures developed to add as well) and Krista is going to attend a
special day camp in August called Where in the World is Suzy
Squirrel?
Our troop held
a Court of Awards Ceremony recently (you can visit the
scrap book page here) as part of
the closing for this year. We will be having a troop pizza
party and a cook out later this summer. Our troop went on a
wonderful field trip to the Tulsa Zoo, you can look at our
scrapbook pages of that here.
If you would
like some ideas of projects to do with your scout troop or just some
fun activities for you visit one of our favorite sites
www.makingingfriends.com.
