Having a well-stocked pantry makes any homemaker's life worlds easier!  Here is my list of pantry necessities, you can use it as an example to make your own.  My pantry list includes the basic necessities for my refrigerator and freezer too, don't forget to add that to your list.  (c:

Baking Supplies:
baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa, vinegar, flour, oats, cornmeal, vanilla extract, chocolate chips, cake mix, cooking spray

Breads:
white & wheat bread, tortillas (corn or flour), sandwich rolls

Canned goods:
tomato puree, diced tomatoes, whole stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, apple sauce (I use this in place of oil in cake mixes), evaporated milk, tuna, green chilies, Beans (refried & pork n beans are big around here), salsas, pickles, canned veggies (green beans, corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, asparagus)

Condiments:
soy sauce, cooking oil, ketchup, mustard, honey , jams, peanut butter

Seasonings:
pepper, seasoned salt, garlic powder, ginger, curry powder, red pepper

Prepackaged stuff:
macaroni and cheese, pasta, rice (short and long grain), boxed side dishes (seasoned rice, stuffing, etc), cereal, pop tarts (we get some yummy oatmeal and fruit ones),

Pantry veggies:
potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, garlic, assorted squashes when in season

Refrigerator:
milk, butter, eggs, cheeses (cheddar, mozzarella, ricotta, jack, sliced American), yogurt, olive oil, yeast, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, salad dressing

Freezer:
chicken, beef, pork, frozen overripe bananas (for banana bread), cheeses, butter, Popsicles (homemade with juice)
