Pineapple Sheet Cake
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
2 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Mix flour, sugar and soda together.
Add pineapple and eggs. Beat well. Pour into a
greased sheet pan. Add brown sugar and nuts on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
7-Up Cake
3 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour
2 tablespoons lemon extract
3/4 cup 7-Up
Cream butter and sugar together for 20
minutes. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour, lemon
extract and 7-Up. Pour into a greased Bundt pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Cocoa
Crème Pie
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
3 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
9-inch prepared pie crust, regular or graham cracker
In medium sauce pan, stir together the
cocoa, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually add milk,
stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring
constantly, until mixture comes to a boil; boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into
prepared crust. Press plastic wrap directly onto surface to
prevent skin from forming. Cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate 6 to 8 hours to completely set.
